Sometimes store bought headboards are overrated. I have been on the continual search for the perfect headboard and I still have not found anything that screams that it is perfect for my space. Instead of settling on something blahse, my first headboard looked very similar to the one in the picture above. By venturing over to the nearest fabric shop, or easier yet, buying a cheap (yet stylish) window curtain and rod, one can fix the rod to the wall and drape the fabric to add a dash of color. This is also a great remedy to add color to apartments that don’t allow wall paint.
