Spotlight: Alecia Stevens Design

I recently met local designer, writer and stylist Alecia Stevens and was immediately blown away with her work.  She has a background in fashion and set design before pursuing interior design.  She now owns Alecia Stevens Interiors and is a freelance writer and stylist for national publications.  Read on after the jump for more samples of her work.

Alecia’s design philosophy is to not design for the client alone, but to make it a collaborative effort between the designer, the client, and the space’s architecture.  She draws upon some of the Twin Cities best independent resources to pull her rooms together.  Her love of textiles are evident in the rich array of materials she uses in her projects.
