Can you believe we are near the end of the week already?  You have to love a short work week!  If you want to find a way to wind down the week, I recommend checking out an art opening on Friday September 10th from 7-11pm called, Spotitive Vibrations at spotArt gallery in Northeast Minneapolis.  Berry Holz, who was previously featured on this blog, is part of a group of artists including Karl Friedrich, BMF, Spleee, Cole Hartigan, Adam Erickson, Mandy Chowen, Michael McGraw and Jeremy Schock,

The gallery event will have acoustic music from David Harland and henna tattoo art by Judy Ostrowski.  Check out examples from most of the artists in the gallery below.

Spotlight: Kirkland Gallery

July 19th, 2010

Artwork by Drew Beson

Last week, I had an invitation to join the Blog Pantry ladies (a group of local female bloggers) at the newly opened Kirkland Gallery in Downtown Minneapolis.  The art gallery is beautiful!  Nestled right off of the light rail, Kirkland Gallery hosts some beautiful works from artists such as Gino Hollander, Drew Beson, Norm Korpi, as well as sculptures from Siri Hollander.  Please read after the jump to learn more about Kirkland Gallery and to see a photo tour of its current exhibit.
